Greg Fraser starred with the boot as Bermuda came from behind to beat the hosts in yesterday's rugby international in Cayman Islands.

Trailing 15-7 at half-time, Bermuda scored 19 unanswered points in the second half, with Fraser grabbing 14 of those alongside a Dave Porter try.

Shauntino Simons also crossed for a try earlier, which Rich Holden converted, as the visitors took an early 7-0 lead. However, Cayman's physical presence upfront saw flanker Shaun Gerrard reduce the deficit to just two points, and the home took the lead through right-wing Phil O'Conor following a bad mistake by Bermuda's Neville Zuill, who dropped a free-kick inside his own 22.

Cayman full-back Josh Brown added the extras and then extended his side's lead to 15-7 on the stroke of half-time, after Bermuda had been penalised for being off their feet at the breakdown.

The win rounded off a fine weekend for Bermuda rugby after the Island's youth teams had retained the Conyers Cup earlier in the day. Convincing wins for the Under-10s, Under-12s and Under-14s were enough to give the Island the trophy, with only the Under-16s failing to win their match.

The Under-10s got things off to a winning start with a 20-5 win over their counterparts. Padraic O'Shaunghnessy scored two tries and there were also scores for Tyler Kendall and Billy Montgomery.

That win was quickly followed by a 14-5 triumph for the Under-14s, who scored tries through Tadhg O'Shaughnessy and Micah Perozzi. The Under-10s recorded a thumping 35-0 win, with Logan Bell, Mickey Thomas and Liam Bird among the trie scorers

The Under-16s came up against a strong, well drilled Cayman side looking to restore some of their Island's pride, and despite a fine score by Ashton Dean on the brink of half-time, the visitors never looked like threatening their hosts.

The home side dominated and in the end ran out comfortable winners 46-7.
