Gombey Warriors reach final of Weekend Cup

A gifted young Bermuda select team showcased their promise by finishing runners-up in the Schwan's USA Cup Weekend in Minnesota last Sunday.

The Gombey Warriors, who are using the tournament as preparation for their upcoming Under-17 World Cup qualifiers, lost to Canadian team The Oakville Gunners 1-0 after extra-time.

En route to the final Bermuda beat Norway's KFUM-S, the Texas Lightning Back, Albion CS as well as earning a draw against the Oakville Gunners.
