Race double set for tomorrow
A double header of running events is slated for tomorrow when the National Duathalon Championships and the Bermuda Environmental Alliance six kilometre run/walk, take place at Clearwater Beach and the flagpole respectively.
The National Duathalon Championships kick off at 8.15 a.m. for the juniors and 9.30 a.m. for the seniors.
The format of the competition is run/bike/run.
Race number pick-up can be collected along with a race package from Bicycle Works, 13 Tumkins Lane, Hamilton, today from 2 to 4 p.m.
All athletes must be BTA members to compete. Membership forms available at www.bta.bm.
Individuals and both team members must arrive 15 minutes before the start of their race at Clearwater on race day
Completed entry forms to be dropped off at Sportseller, Winners Edge or Bicycle Works, or online entries at www.raceday.bm, before 4.45 p.m. today.
The run/walk is organised by a new environmental outfit called the Bermuda Environmental Alliance.
Entry forms can be picked up and dropped off at Sportseller with a cost of $20.
The RMS Construction 10/20k will be held next weekend, starting and finishing at BAA Field. Start time is 8.30 a.m.
Register on-line at www.maac.bm or fill out forms available at The Sportseller. Deadline for entries is Friday, April 23 at 5 p.m.
Number pick-up and late entry at Sportseller, Saturday, April 24 from noon to 2 p.m. only.

The deadline for the junior race is Wednesday April 28.
Entry forms are available from Sportseller, International Sports Shop and schools and can be dropped off in the MAAC box at Sportseller or enter on-line at www.bermudatiming.bm
This race is for ages 4 to 15.
The annual May 2 Half Marathon Derby deadline day is May 15, with a race fee of $35.
Categories for the race include Junior, Open, Masters, Seniors, and Elders.
