The first road race since International Race Weekend, the popular Butterfield and Vallis 5K, is set for February 7.

Children aged 12 and under will also compete over a 2.7K, starting at 9.00 a.m. while walkers will start after the main event.

Entries for the race, which is promoted by the Bermuda Union of Teachers and in the past has attracted up to 800 participants, close on February 3 with forms available at SportSeller and at Butterfield & Vallis. Runners can also register at at www.bermudatiming.bm

The first 700 to enter will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag and various draw prizes will be up for grabs including an American Airlines ticket to the US and two pedal bikes from Winners' Edge.

Late entries can be made at number pick-up on Saturday, February 6 between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. at Butterfield and Vallis on Woodlands Road.
