Town or Village . . . it all rests on the final games

PHC v Dandy TownThis is a true title decider in every sense of the phrase.Town know that a win will see them hoist the league title, their first since 2003/04, and would like nothing better than to be confirmed champions with a victory over rivals PHC.

PHC v Dandy Town

This is a true title decider in every sense of the phrase.

Town know that a win will see them hoist the league title, their first since 2003/04, and would like nothing better than to be confirmed champions with a victory over rivals PHC.

A draw, however, will mean that they'll have to look at North Village's match with Somerset Eagles to know their fate. If Town draw or lose and Village win, Shaun Goater's team will be crowned champions.

With an attack firing on all cylinders and scoring seemingly at will, backed by an efficient and composed back four, Town should be lifting the trophy come the end of the day.

For PHC it could be a case of deja-vu with the Zebras having let Devonshire Cougars win the league at Southampton Oval last year.

With nothing to play for, the thought of playing spoilers might be fancied by Kyle Lightbourne's men who would like nothing more than put Town's title hopes to bed.

Prediction:Town 3-2

Somerset Eagles v North Village

After allowing their title fate to fall into the hands of Dandy Town after their shock draw last weekend with Southampton Rangers, Village need to win to keep their title chances alive.

A win coupled with a Town draw, or a draw and a Town loss will be enough for the Bernard Park team to lift their first league title since their 'triple crown' triumph.

But in Eagles they will encounter a few old friends and foes in Keishen Bean and Antwan Russell.

They could be in for a fight given that their opponents are preparing for an FA Cup final in the coming weeks.

Prediction: Village 2-1

Boulevard v Devonshire Colts

Neither side have anything to play for and the last match of the season will be something of a relief to both sides.

For Boulevard, their season is finally over after having endured a hugely frustrating campaign that was more like a soap opera than a football season.

Colts have proved their critics wrong and have not only stayed up but won matches, something they didn't do last season.

A win to end the season would be a good finish for the Devonshire team, but a stalemate is also on the cards in this meaningless match.

Prediction: Boulevard 1-0

Somerset Trojans v

Southampton Rangers

With Rangers preparing for a Friendship final and Trojans already doomed for First Division football, this one should be a straight forward win for Rangers.

Coming off an encouraging performance against Village last weekend, the side should be brimming with confidence and will look to continue that form in the closing games they are due to play.

Prediction: Rangers 3-0

Hamilton Parish v

Devonshire Cougars

Cougars will be looking to put the finishing touches on their FA Cup preparations and playing this match against a competitive side should go a long way to gauging how far along they have come.

In Parish, a side that were confirmed as the second side to go down to the First Division last weekend, the soon to be dethroned champions will face a stiff test in their last match of the season.

The match will be their farewell match before officially losing their top flight status.

Prediction: 2-2
