Trojans can pile on the misery for hapless Eagles
Boulevard v
Southampton Rangers
This Friendship Trophy match will not be a priority for Boulevard who have some crucial Premier Division fixtures on the horizon.
But they will certainly be looking to bounce back from last week's defeat against Devonshire Cougars and should be too strong for Southampton Rangers at Police Field.
There have been positives to come out of Blazers' current injury crisis with their youth players stepping up and performing well.
Rangers looked a jaded side in their 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Dandy Town last weekend and have their own injury matters to tend to.
Attacking options will be Albert Smith's biggest worry, having seen his team score only two goals in their last three games.
Should Rohaan Simons suit up, it will be a huge bonus for a Rangers side that has delivered mediocre performances in recent weeks.
Prediction:
Boulevard 3-1
North Village v
Devonshire Cougars
The match of the day will see North Village attempt to continue their recent success against Cougars in cup competitions and knock them out of a second successive tournament.
Both teams know enough about each other to suggest the game will be decided by a lapse of concentration or a moment of individual brilliance.
Having met twice already this term, a 1-0 win for Cougars in the league and a 2-0 win for the Dudley Eve champions in the same competition, the stage is set for an intriguing match at Lords.
Village put their rivals to the sword in the Dudley Eve showdown and were unfortunate to only win by the margin they did.
But if the Big Cats bring their 'A' game to this all or nothing game, it will be a long day at the office for Shaun Goater's men.
Prediction: 1-1
Somerset Eagles v
Somerset Trojans
In the first installment of the Somerset derby, Trojans were the better side for much of the game and deserved winners.
With skipper Jelani Scott back in fold, they look an even more formidable opponent this time around and should be favourites to beat their rivals for the second time this season.
Eagles have been in a freefall in the last six weeks, and their 2-1 loss to PHC at the weekend has only increased the pressure on Kenny Thompson's men who made such an encouraging start to the campaign. Their supposed potent attack has been as good as their defending in recent weeks, which isn't much to talk about.
But a win at Bernard Park for Eagles over Trojans would certainly be a huge lift for the White Hill Field men.
Prediction:
Trojans 3-2
PHC v Devonshire Colts
Is this the match PHC redeem themselves from their 2-1 loss to Colts, or will Colts continue their rich form after seeing off woeful Hamilton Parish at the weekend?
At first glance, this game looks like a straight forward win for Kyle Lightbourne's Zebras, but how things can change in a month.
Colts went from a team which hadn't won a league fixture for some 16 months, to winning three of their last four outings.
The question is can the side transfer their league form to cup competitions? PHC will certainly be looking for revenge after Colts temporarily derailed their league charge in a match they were supposed to win quite comfortably.
Zebras may be a leading contender in the title race, but their opponents are showing no fear and will undoubtedly test them.
Prediction:
PHC 2-0
