Under-13s defend Caribbean title
Bermuda have retained their International Tennis Federation (ITF) Under-13 championship title in Curacao.
They finished on 36 points, seven ahead of runners-up Barbados and 18 in front of third place Bahamas.
Chris Rego, who is set to attend the Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton, Florida, won the boys' singles final by beating Bahamian Malik Jones, 6-1, 6-2.
Coach Jerome Bradshaw said: "All week the Bermuda team has been solid with a playing style that captured the attention of players and coaches alike.
"Chris continued with a solid game plan that took Malik out of his rhythm.
"He served well, moved well and took away any attacking opportunity from Malik while creating his own, and executing them with a high rate of success. The match was over in less than an hour." Rego's team-mate, Eva Frazzoni, was defeated in her final against Kiana Marshall of Barbados, 6 - 4, 6 - 2.
James Finnigan claimed third position in the boys' event by beating had I-Mani King of St. Vincent, 6 - 2, 6 - 2.
While Taylor Mcharg finished in 13th position after winning the consolation competition.
