Warriors chasing leaders Hood

St.David's will be looking to maintain their perfect record and reclaim top spot when they tackle East End rivals St.George's at Wellington Oval on Sunday.

Both clubs are unbeaten in the league this season, although it's new-boys Robin Hood who are perched at the summit of the standings following their emphatic three goal victory over Ireland Rangers at BAA Field in mid-week.

The Hood, also unbeaten in all competitions, have the opportunity to extend their lead when they face Young Men's Social Club at BAA Field tomorrow night, who will be aiming to bounce back from their surprise defeat against Wolves on Tuesday night.

But it is the clash between St.David's and St.George's that will grab the most attention this weekend. They were both tipped as favourites to claim the two promotion places at the start of the season, although Hood are showing signs of threatening to spoil the East End party.

Hood have 16 points from six games, St.David's are on 15 points from five games, while St.George's have –14 points from six games.
