World Cup pair finish 13th in qualifiers

Dwayne Pearman and Scott Roy finished 13 in the Omega Mission Hills World Cup qualifier in Venezuela.

The Bermuda pair shot an even-par 71 in the final round to finish four-under for the tournament, and 14 shots off the qualifying places.

Yesterday's alternate-shot format is one that the duo have struggled in this week, and the fourth round was no exception, birdies at nine, 11 and 18 were offset by bogeys at three, 10 and 17.

Only the top three from the 15 teams that took part qualified for the World Cup, with Chile winning this week's South America qualifier with a total of 27-under par. Venezuela came second on 25-under, and Guatemala took third on 18-under.
