Bermuda defend Caribbean title

Bermuda 18 Guyana 0Bermuda's national rugby team have been crowned Caribbean Champions for the second successive year after defeating Guyana at the National Sports Centre. The hosts dominated their opponents throughout and were up 13-0 by the half hour mark through two Ian Henderson penalties and a David Pringle try.Henderson, who also missed a first half penalty, was sin-binned for five minutes either side of the interval after committing a yellow card offence. In Henderson's absence Bermuda had another chance to extend their lead but Tom Edwards missed a penalty kick right in front of the posts. After the break Bermuda continued to control the game with Guyana's finding it difficult to break down their opponent's water-tight defence.Henderson, having served his penalty, took advantage of a Guyana knock on to score under the sticks to complete the scoring late on.
