Reid and Roberts win silver in shooting

Bermuda’s Carl Reid and Ross Roberts claimed silver in the men’s 50 metres Prone Smallbore Rifle at Warwick Camp.Reid (565) and Roberts (568) attained 1133 points.Gotland's Birger Johansson (574) and Dick Westrom (569) won gold with 1143 points, while bronze went to Menorca's Tobias Pantke (558) and Pedro Portella (570) who totalled 1128 points.Terence Madeiros (34) and Andrew Pereira (40) couldn’t duplicate Reid and Roberts’ performance, finishing eighth in the Automatic Ball Trap team event.Menorca’s Juan Manuel Bagur Bosch (84) and Sebastian Bosch (73) won gold after gaining 157 points, with Cayman Islands’ duo of Christopher Jackson (85) and Kevin Schirn (65) placing second with 150 points.Esmar Andreasen (68) and Johnhard Klettheyggj (69) claimed the bronze with 137 points.Gotland continued their medal charge in the Shoot competitions, with Johnny Jonasson (556) and Robin Leksather (565) earning gold in the 10 metre Air Rifle team event with 1121 points.Jehnny Gardelin (573) and Eva Widing (552) won gold in the 50 metre Prone Smallbore Rifle women’s team event, having amassed 1125 points.Bermuda’s Dwaynette (561) and Maurisa Smith (551) finished second in the event, however, didn’t medal as there has to be more then three teams competing in the event.
