Wilson and Hayward to compete in Montreal

Steve Wilson and Omar Hayward will be representing Bermuda in the Bisfed World Open Boccia competition in Montreal, which starts tomorrow.

Hayward and Wilson will join other elite athletes from 22 countries as they aim to gain valuable ranking points before the Paralympics in Tokyo next year.

Both athletes will be featuring in the individual portion of the competition with Wilson competing in the BC4 division and Hayward in the BC1 division.

Wilson will be hoping to continue his good form after winning the Buenos Aires Regional Open in November, while, Hayward will be looking forward to the challenge of competing against some of the world's best players and improving his world rankings. Both players have already qualified for the Parapan Am Games in Lima, Peru, this summer.
