Constituency #2 - St. George's West - Dean Foggo, JP, MP
First elected to Parliament in 2003 as the MP for St. Georges West, Dean has been adjusting comfortably to the demands of political life. He has earned the respect of the members and supporters of the St. George's Branch for the hard work and dedication he has contributed to the party over the years. Born and raised in St. Georges, Dean has continued to live in the community where his roots run deep. He is the youngest of four children born to Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie Earl Foggo, Sr.
In July of 1997, Dean received a Masters Degree in Business Education after completing his formal teacher training at Alabama A&M University. He taught Business and Information Technology at CedarBridge Academy from 1997 – 2003, and while there, he was involved in the Bermuda Technology Education Collaborative (BTEC) programme, gaining invaluable knowledge through his interaction with professors of Stanford University.
The success of our young people is very important to Dean, and he endeavours to make parental involvement in schools a primary focus as he believes our young people are key in Moving Bermuda Forward.
Dean Foggo is a member of the CedarBridge Academy's Board of Governors, the St. George's Parish Council and also sits on the Development Applications Board. He is an active member of Richard Allen AME Church, where he holds the positions of Trustee Board member, Assistant Head Usher, Church Treasurer, Church Sexton and Unity Choir Member.
