Constituency #31 - Southampton West Central - Marc Bean
Marc is from the West End's 'Spring Benny and is the youngest child of Allan Bean Sr. and Corallyn ‘Covey' Bean. Marc and his wife, Cathy, are the caring parents of a family of four children, Shaehlay, Janhoi, Tarfari, and Tarreko. Marc is an alumnus of the Berkeley Institute and Bailbrook College in the United Kingdom.
A natural leader, Marc has represented Bermuda in junior tennis and continues to play a significant role in Bermuda's sporting community. He is currently the President of the Somerset Bridge Recreation Club, has captained the club's cricket team, and coached the soccer team.
Marc Bean is an FAA certified commercial pilot as well as a small business entrepreneur. He is currently Managing Director of Paradise Air Limited. He is deeply involved in community service as Deputy Chairman of the West End Development Corporation. He has served on numerous Government Boards, including the Telecommunications Commission, the Public Transportation Board, The Public Service Vehicle Licensing Board and the Bermuda Independence Commission. He is currently the Recruitment and Enrolment Manager for the Mirrors Program.
Marc's focus for Constituency 31 is enhancing of the quality of life for the residents through the protection of seniors, women and children, the conservation of open space, and the maintaining of the infrastructure. He is also deeply committed to the cultivation of the island's youth, in particular their character, and educational development.
