Jeanne AtherdenJeanne Atherden, the vice president of Paragon Brokers, was a former United Bermuda Party Senator and chairman.Ms Atherden has served as Shadow Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, while speaking for Finance in the Upper House.She attended the Berkeley Institute and her exposure to community involvement and politics came at an early age as both her parents, Erskine and Pearl Adderley, sat on numerous boards and her mother, Pearl Adderley, ran for parliament in 1968.Returning to Bermuda after graduation from McGill University, she began to make her own community contributions, which included serving on the Board of Governors of the Bermuda College, becoming President of the Harrington Sound PTA and joining the Education Planning Team (EPT) in order to help shape a new direction for education.Appointed a Senator in 2008, she also became a member of the Parliamentary Joint Select Committee on Education.In 2009, Ms Atherden served as one of the six members appointed by the Governor to sit on the Boundaries Commission.“I want Bermuda to succeed again. I want it to do better for its people. But we need change to make it happen.”She has served as a member of the Executive and President of OWIT, an organisation to promote women in international trade for several years, and mentored many young women as they climbed the corporate ladder.On the political front she was appointed a Senator in 2008 where she served for three years. She is currently Deputy Chairman of the OBA.She grew up in the constituency that she is running in and is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hotel Pension Fund and Deputy Chairman of KeyTech Limited.She is married, has two daughters and one grandson.Vincent InghamVincent Ingham attended West Pembroke Primary School and The Berkeley Institute, before gaining a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Technical College respectively, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Nova University.While working at Belco, he was awarded several promotions, most notably successfully fulfilling the role of senior vice president in 1994, executive vice president in 1997 and executive vice president and COO of Belco in December 2001.On July 1, 2007 he was appointed president and CEO of Belco and was made president and CEO of Ascendant Group Limited on January 1, 2008.Mr Ingham says he is passionate about making a difference in the community and dedicates a significant amount of his personal time to many local, government, education and professional organisations.He was the first Chairman of the Bermuda Land Development Company and has served on the Government Employment Tribunal, the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, the Essential Industries Disputes Settlement Board, Telecommunications & Broadcasting Commission, Airport Advisory Committee and as a member of the Bermuda College Strategic Plan Action Team.He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Education and Board of Tourism.Mr Ingham was appointed as a PLP Senator in November last year, and is the Junior Minister for Public Works, Business Development and Tourism.
