Pre-Budget report consultation period extended

Public consultation on this year’s Pre-Budget Report has been extended to next week.
According to a government spokeswoman, the report “defines the priorities for the next budget in a medium-term framework covering external developments and internal strategies”.
“It is intended to clearly state the Government’s economic and fiscal policy challenges and its objectives and intentions in the medium term.”
The report can be accessed here and members of the public can submit feedback and suggestions at forum.gov.bm, or by e-mailing openbudget@gov.bm.
The new deadline is January 17.
