Premier gives Budget Statement preview

David Burt, the Premier, will present the Government’s annual Budget next Friday, it has been confirmed.

In a statement, Mr Burt, who is also the Minister of Finance, said: "Our financial plan will support the wellbeing of Bermudians, safeguard the vulnerable, enhance our infrastructure and uphold our commitment to achieving a balanced Budget.

“The 2024-25 Budget will prioritise economic growth and outline the Government’s plans to sustain our economic recovery."

Live coverage of proceedings will be broadcast on the parliamentary website and the government Facebook page.

MPs return to the House of Assembly tomorrow for the first Parliamentary session since the Christmas break in December.
