Krista Doran, a senior vice-president at Bowring Marsh has been named a 2011 Power Broker by Risk & Insurance magazine.The award recognises her creativity, problem-solving ability, industry knowledge, and commitment to delivering superior client service in the chemical industry sector. Ms Doran is the only broker from Bermuda to make the list, which was released in the latest issue of the magazine.As senior vice-president in the excess casualty department and a 17-year veteran at Bowring Marsh, Ms Doran is responsible for placing and managing excess liability programmes with the Island’s insurers on behalf of Marsh clients. Individuals were judged mainly on their creativity in solving risk-related problems during 2010, their industry knowledge and their high level of client service.
