Tokio Millennium Re Ltd has announced the appointment of Stephen O'Flynn as senior vice-president, underwriting.Mr O'Flynn, who took up his new role last week, reports to Peter Mills, strategic underwriting officer, and is responsible for initiating the firm's professional lines portfolio of business.His underwriting experience spans 16 years in the reinsurance market with specialist emphasis in professional and casualty lines treaty underwriting.Mr O'Flynn joins Tokio from Allied World Reinsurance Company, most recently in the role of vice-president, international professional and casualty treaty underwriter.Tokio?s president and CEO, Tatsuhiko Hoshina, said: "The management team and I are very pleased to welcome Steve to the TMR underwriting team, and we look forward to working with him to build a profitable professional lines book."
