Ace announces new insurance internship

Ace Bermuda has just announce a new insurance internship for Bermudian university students.

Ace Select is a paid internship that will run from May 27 through August 9 of next year. It will be offered to just six students interested in pursuing a career in the insurance industry.

The company says the interns can expect to gain a well-rounded understanding of the industry together with practical hands-on experience in various lines of insurance.

“The Ace Select internship will equip students with leadership and professional skills and develop teamwork abilities through an action learning project. Based on performance, individual interns will be invited to return to Ace for a second year for a broader industry experience,” a statement from the company said.

Applicants for the new internship must hold Bermudian status, have a keen interest in entering the insurance industry and be enrolled at an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0. A completed application form, resume and references must be submitted by Thursday, December 13, 2012. Interviews will be conducted in Bermuda the following week.

Interested students can obtain more information, applicant requirement details and application forms at www.acebermuda.com/select, by e-mailing bermuda.humanresources@acegroup.com or calling 441-298-9573.
