Oil Insurance Limited (OIL) has announced the promotion of Theresa Dunlop to the position of vice president, OIL effective January 1, 2013.Mrs Dunlop joined Oil Insurance Limited in March 2001 as a senior insurance analyst in the Underwriting Department. She has assumed progressive responsibility over the last 11 years culminating in her promotion to an officer of the company.She attained her ARe in 1999, her CPCU in 2003 and was awarded the Young Industry Leader of the Year Award in 2007 by the Bermuda Insurance Institute.George Hutchings, OIL chief operating officer stated: “This promotion recognises the important contribution that Theresa makes to OIL and our members. Theresa is the key liaison between our members, their brokers and the company. She has played an instrumental role over the past several years handling all of our members’ needs, elucidating to our members and their brokers the various changes made to the mutual system, developing new business for the company and managing the underwriting department.”
