Aon Benfield is hosting a thought leadership event at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess this week.

Some 80 participants from around the globe have travelled to Bermuda in order to participate in the two day conference.

It begins this morning and ends on Wednesday evening.

The agenda, which is described as ‘strong’, is designed to make Aon Benfield more ‘client intense’ and more ‘business intense’.

According to Bryon Ehrhart, chief executive officer of Aon Benfield Americas: “It’s a good time for us reflect about what happened in 2013, and to plan better for 2014, to help our clients grow and become more successful, and capture all the opportunities in the global market.

“We’re having get-togethers to talk about how we need to think about the firm to benefit our clients, benefit our colleagues, benefit our shareholders — so that’s what we’re doing here.”

“We also hope to connect with people here in Bermuda, and to connect with people in the market here.”
