A global insurance industry executive recruitment firm has opened an office in Bermuda.Eliot Partnership also announced the appointment of Britt Reiss as partner and director, Bermuda to head the operation, based in offices at 31 Victoria Street, Hamilton. Ms Reiss joins EP with over 15 years of executive search experience, the majority of which focused on the insurance and reinsurance industries. Most recently, she was the managing partner of The James Partnership Ltd/BermudaREcruit Ltd, an affiliate of EY, where she built the firm’s executive search branch into a successful recruiter in the insurance and reinsurance market. Before that she worked for Hays plc, a global specialist recruitment group, where she developed senior-level relationships with clients and candidates in the United Kingdom.“This newly created position recognises Bermuda’s significance in the global insurance and reinsurance industries, its leading role in developing risk management solutions and the continued growth potential of the insurance-linked securities market on the island,” EP stated. Ms Reiss will be tasked with growing EP’s footprint in Bermuda and will be a key member of EP’s team serving and growing its wider global client base through its existing offices in London, New York, Singapore and Zurich.
