Bermudian-based re/insurer Sompo International Holdings Ltd has formed of a new team offering products to clients in the technology industry through its retail brokers.The new unit is called Sompo GRS Technology, and is part of Sompo Global Risk Solutions, It is being led by Michael Carroll.Michael Chang, chief executive officer of Sompo Global Risk Solutions, said: “The launch of the GRS Technology unit builds on the joint experience of our US Insurance and Sompo GRS teams in serving clients in this dynamic sector. It also makes it easier for clients in this space to access our market-leading capabilities across all lines of business on either a stand-alone or integrated basis.”
