Industry veteran Richard Paris-Smith is to become European client service leader at Strategic Risk Solutions, the independent insurance company managers with an operation in Bermuda.

Mr Paris-Smith, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, will begin his new position on January 1.

The company said that he will report to Guernsey managing director Peter Child and will assume responsibility for a portfolio of existing clients while working with the SRS team to support the company’s growth strategy in Guernsey and Europe.
