Appleby partner Jerome Wilson will discuss the future of finance at the upcoming Bermuda Tech Week, focusing on banking institutions leaning into the digital-asset market.

Mr Wilson, head of Appleby’s technology and innovation practice, will moderate a panel titled “The Future of Money” on October 26.

The conference is presented by the Bermuda Business Development Agency in partnership with the Bermuda Government’s Economic Development Department and NEXT Bermuda. Appleby is a Platinum sponsor.

“We are pleased to continue supporting the Bermuda Tech Summit, especially at a time when Bermuda’s position as a leading global hub for blockchain and fintech is solidifying,” Mr Wilson said.

“This is in large part due to the island’s robust yet flexible regulation under the Digital Assets Business Act, which supports the development, testing and launching of products, and to Bermuda’s business ecosystem as a whole.”

The Bermuda Tech Summit will be held from October 26 to 28 at the Hamilton Princess and Beach Club.
