Philip Enan to lead SiriusPoint strategy
Philip Enan is the new chief strategy and corporate development officer at global speciality insurer SiriusPoint.
He will lead the company’s strategy development process, while exploring new investment opportunities and initiatives to support the near and long-term success of the group.
Based in New York, Mr Enan joins SiriusPoint’s executive leadership team, reporting to chief executive officer, Scott Egan.
He was previously executive vice-president, global corporate development and head of strategic partnerships at Chubb.
The firm’s chief executive said Mr Enan’s extensive industry experience and thoughtful approach made him an invaluable addition to SiriusPoint.
“As we progress towards achieving our strategic goals, it is crucial to establish new roles that leverage both existing and new talent to guide SiriusPoint into the future,” Mr Egan said.
“With the successful completion of our repositioning efforts in 2024, we are focused on ensuring we have the right expertise to drive our business performance forward year after year.”
Mr Enan said SiriusPoint’s expansion over the past few years had been remarkable.
“I am excited to collaborate with leaders across the organisation to ensure the long-term success of the company,” he said.
“By capitalising on growth opportunities, we are steadily moving closer to our vision of becoming a best-in-class business.”
