Fidelis, the global speciality insurer, has made Anneeka Patel its new chief human resources officer.

Joining the executive management team, Ms Patel will oversee HR for the company across its Bermuda, UK and Ireland teams.

Ms Patel said she was excited to join Fidelis.

“I look forward to leading the HR department, contributing to the company’s growth and success and supporting the development of its greatest asset: its people,” she said.

Jason Kittinger, chief operating officer, said Ms Patel’s extensive HR expertise and leadership will be vital in enhancing their dynamic workplace culture and ensuring the firm continued to attract, develop and retain top talent across their global operations.

She has over a decade of experience in HR across financial services, joining Fidelis from Deutsche Numis where she was acting head of HR.

Ms Patel will report directly to Mr Kittinger in London.
