Fidelis, the global speciality insurer, has made Anneeka Patel its new chief human resources officer.

Joining the executive management team, Ms Patel will oversee HR for the company across its Bermuda, British and Ireland teams.

Ms Patel said she was excited to join Fidelis.

“I look forward to leading the HR department, contributing to the company’s growth and success and supporting the development of its greatest asset: its people,” she said.

Jason Kittinger, chief operating officer, said Ms Patel’s extensive HR expertise and leadership will be vital in enhancing the company’s dynamic workplace culture and ensuring it continues to attract, develop and retain top talent across its global operations.

She has more than a decade of experience in HR across financial services, joining Fidelis from Deutsche Numis, where she was acting head of HR.

Ms Patel will report directly to Mr Kittinger in London.
