Two iconic organisations were named today as major sponsors of the next Bermuda Risk Summit this coming March.

The Bermuda Business Development Agency announced that the Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers is a platinum sponsor for the event and rating agency, AM Best, has signed on as a gold sponsor.

They join previously announced headline sponsor, EY, in supporting “Bermuda’s signature risk event”, taking place March 9 – 11 at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.

The BDA said: “This year’s summit will be anchored by the theme ‘Building What’s Next’ reflecting a forward-looking programme exploring how global risk, (insurance and) reinsurance, life and annuity, captives, insurance-linked securities, and financial markets are evolving in response to an increasingly complex risk environment.

“As the organiser of the Bermuda Risk Summit, the BDA continues to strengthen Bermuda’s position as a global centre for risk leadership by convening decision-makers, sharing expertise, and fostering the connections that translate into real outcomes for Bermuda’s economy.

“Additional sponsors confirmed to date include Ariel Re and Axa XL (silver), Acord, Aon, Aspen, Fidelis Insurance Group, Rein4ce, SiriusPoint and SS&C Technologies (supporting), BermudAir as the official airline sponsor, with further sponsors to be announced in the coming weeks.”
