The Fidelis Partnership is launching a careers programme in the new year.

An advertisement in The Royal Gazette has called for applications from graduates of the Bermuda College and the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentorship scheme to apply to their Early Careers Programme 2026.

Participants will have the opportunity to try out one or more departments of the global speciality and bespoke insurance and reinsurance underwriting firm based at 100 Pitts Bay Road in Hamilton.

Depending on the candidate, these include operations, administration, facilities, claims, actuarial, underwriting, finance, information technology and legal.

Responsibilities will vary by department but could include performing triage on the operation central repository, assisting, reviewing and updating the adjustment premium report master, learning catastrophe modelling concepts, evaluating cedent exposure data and assisting with generation and distribution of weekly reinsurance reports.

The job notice calls for skills such as basic competency in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Outlook, Excel, proven time management skills, strong interpersonal skills and excellent writing and speaking skills, among other things.

The role is open to Bermudians, spouses of Bermudians or permanent residency certificate holders.
