Two key leadership appointments at Everest
Two key leadership appointments made within Everest Group’s facultative & hybrid reinsurance business, is further strengthening its global wholesale and specialty platform, the company said today.
Michael Cellura has been appointed head of the department and Trevor Gallagher has been named chief operating officer.
Mr Cellura will report to Jason Keen, executive vice president and chief executive officer of global wholesale & specialty insurance.
The global re/insurer said that since joining Everest in 2022, Mr Cellura has demonstrated strong executive leadership across the organisation.
He will oversee the platform, including underwriting strategy, portfolio management, and regional alignment across the business.
Mr Gallagher’s new title is a newly created role reporting to Mr Cellura, and he will be responsible for operational execution, and platform optimisation, supporting the continued scale and performance of the global business.
Since joining Everest in 2023, he has been instrumental in strengthening operational discipline and supporting the buildout of the facultative & hybrid reinsurance platform.
