Moonrock and mea platform new partnership
Moonrock Insurance, the UK drone managing general agent, and mea Platform, the re/insurance artificial intelligence product company, are in partnership to implement mea Operations as an AI-first operating platform across its business.
As a specialist MGA operating in a fast-moving market, Moonrock is taking an AI-led approach to scaling, according to a press statement from mea.
Rather than adopting legacy systems, the company is building its business on a modern, automated foundation designed to support rapid growth, global expansion, and a differentiated client and broker experience.
Through the deployment of mea Operations, Moonrock will establish a unified AI layer across core operational workflows, including submission intake, data ingestion, document processing, claims handling and financial operations, mea said in a statement.
Moonrock is positioning itself as a technology-first MGA, using AI as foundational operating infrastructure. The partnership with mea enables Moonrock to operate with the speed, transparency, and responsiveness that re/insurance markets increasingly expect.
“From day one, our ambition has been to build an MGA designed for the future of specialty insurance,” said Simon Ritterband, CEO of Moonrock Insurance.
“Partnering with mea allows us to scale using AI as a core operating capability. This gives us the agility to build on our global growth, differentiate against slower incumbents, and deliver a more efficient, modern experience for brokers and partners.”
“Moonrock represents the next wave of MGAs, firms architecting their businesses around AI from the outset,” said Martin Henley, CEO of mea Platform.
“By building on mea Operations across underwriting, claims, and finance, Moonrock is creating an operating model that supports rapid growth, strong governance, and sustained market relevance.”
