The Fidelis Partnership has appointed Mark Khan as head of broker relationships.

In his new role, Mr Khan will drive deal-by-deal execution of the firm’s broker strategy, with responsibility for generating and growing new business by supporting underwriters in managing their broker relationships.

Based in London, he will work collaboratively across both TFP and on its Pine Walk managing general agency platform.

He will also maintain and grow relationships across all TFP insurance and reinsurance classes and support its cross-selling strategy by ensuring brokers have full visibility of TFP’s capabilities and market presence.

Mr Khan brings more than 35 years of international experience to the role, with particularly strong relationships across the North American property market.

Before joining TFP, he was broker relationship leader at Ki, directing all broker-facing engagement for Lloyd’s Syndicate 1618.

He joins the business next Monday, February 2, reporting to Michael Davern, TFP’s United Kingdom chief underwriting officer and group head of direct and facultative property, energy and construction.

Mr Davern said Mr Khan’s extensive broker network and multi-decade experience will prove invaluable as the firm reinforces its market position across classes.

Mr Davern said TFP’s broker relationships and trusted collaboration with external partners have been central to the firm’s success in meeting urgent and evolving market demands.

Mr Khan said TFP’s reputation for underwriting leadership and for nimble, creative solutions to the market’s most critical capacity needs made this an exciting opportunity.

“I’m looking forward to collaborating with the talented underwriters across both TFP and Pine Walk, helping to reinforce their unique market position,” he said. “I want to seize new opportunities in a complex and rapidly evolving risk landscape.”
