Speciality underwriter SiriusPoint has announced new collaboration with one of the largest landlord insurance specialists in the United States.

Bermudian-based SiriusPoint will provide capacity to Steadily, a property managing general agent providing insurance solutions for real estate investors.

Steadily was founded in Texas in 2020 to address gaps in rental property insurance and now covers all 50 states in the US. Steadily’s automated underwriting platform allows the MGA to offer underwriting, quoting and binding within minutes.

Patrick Charles, global head of property and casualty programmes at SiriusPoint said Steadily is a strong example of the type of MGA partner his firm looked to support — focused, disciplined and highly customer-centric.

The partnership aligned closely with SiriusPoint’s approach to underwriting and operational excellence, while giving the firm access to a short tail property book that complements their existing portfolio.
