Karen Beadle joins Aon‘s Bermuda captive office

Karen Beadle has joined Aon’s captive management office in Bermuda after more than five years at Granite Management Ltd.

After more than two decades in the captive insurance industry, the experienced captive insurance and accounting professional joins Aon Insurance Managers (Bermuda) Ltd, as senior vice-president, captive management.

Ms Beadle commented on her LinkedIn page: “I value the opportunity to work with a highly regarded team here in Bermuda, supported by Aon’s global network. I am looking forward to collaborating with colleagues and clients across the captive industry and contributing to thoughtful dialogue on market developments.”

As head of captive management services at Granite for 18 months to last July, Ms Beadle oversaw the delivery of captive management, consulting, and accounting services for a diverse portfolio of captive clients.

Also involved in business acquisition, Ms Beadle ensured full regulatory compliance for captive clients through oversight of corporate governance frameworks and risk management processes. Prior to her last role, she served the firm’s as chief financial officer for four years.

Before Granite, Ms Beadle was a client service director for five years at the administration and technology company Kane Solutions, followed by nearly four years at Artex Risk Solutions.

Founded in 1965, Aon Insurance Managers (Bermuda) Ltd has been in business for 61 years and remains one of the leading captive and insurance management companies on the island.
