Anglican Church of Pembroke: The Alpha Course will begin on Sunday February 29 at 4 p.m. at St. John's Church. This is an 11 week introduction to the Christian Faith and offers answers to some key questions. Each weekly session begins with light refreshments , followed by a large group learning time and ends with small group discussions and interaction. Alpha began in London and is now held in thousands of churches around the world. The course is not about denominations and all are invited. For more on the course call Ray and Deb Bell on 295-5700.
New Testament Church of God, Heritage Hall: Tuesday, February 17 at 7.30 p.m. Dr. Rose Joshua, author of the book 'Single Mother of Five' will share her strategies for beating down your mountains despite seemingly impossible circumstances. She also will discuss strategies for creating better partnerships with your children. Dr. Joshua will sign books and answer questions after her address.
