Top singers from the Grammy Award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir will be returning to Bermuda next month as part of a combined leaders and music conference sponsored by Cornerstone Bible Fellowship.

Members of the choir, which wowed thousands of concert-goers at the Natiopnalk Sports Centre in 2004, will give a live performance entitled ?I?m Amazed? at the Fairmont Southampton Princess on February 4 to conclude the conference, a press statement from the church said.

The Conference is designed for pastors, Sunday School teachers, youth leaders, Bible Study teachers, band members, music directors, worship leaders, choir members, and all lay people in the church.

The special speaker for the Leaders? track will be award winning author, Pastor Jim Cymbala, Senior Pastor of The Brooklyn Tabernacle Church, New York and the Music track will be lead by Director, Carol Cymbala, who conducts the 300-voice Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and The Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers ? Saturday?s performers.

The conference start at 6 p.m. on Friday night and will continue on Saturday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

This conference will culminate at 7 p.m. with the concert by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers, a group of 18 of the best vocal talent taken from the six-time Grammy Award winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.

The conference offers 12 ?power-packed workshops that will seek to strengthen the skill & structure of church ministries in Bermuda conducted by both local and overseas presenters?, the church said.

People registering before January 30 will receive a 50 percent discount on the value of the conference at $95 which includes a continental breakfast, Fairmont lunch, refreshments, practical instruction, and admission to the concert!
