Opportunity is an open door to possibilities that has no end. With more than 30 years experience as a Christian ministry leader, Dr. Kenneth Glenn Caines lives this reality. Opportunity continues to be his portal to various areas of ministry and exposure. From youth leadership, God keeps giving him access. Over the years his access has produced purposeful influence in local church ministry, community initiatives, and involvement internationally.

Dr. Kenneth Glenn Caines was born and raised on the island of Bermuda. He is the son of Elder Kenneth and Matilda Caines. and brother of Steven Caines, a musical minister with the Corner Stone Church on Church Street. In 1953 his parents, as a young Christian newly married couple, asked for a son that God would use for His glory to bring spiritual change into the lives of people. God is still answering their prayer. His ministry has taken him across the world into countries including the United States, Canada, South Korea, South Africa, and in the Caribbean.

In 1991, Pastor Caines left an engineer career in Electrical Power Generation to move into full time Christian ministry.

He became employed as Executive Director of Prison Fellowship Bermuda, with a vision to minister to people involved in crime, and the victims of crime. His opportunities have included liaising with political leaders, criminal justice officials, prison officials and Christian leaders discussing changes needed to graduate a criminal justice system from one of Retribution to one of Restoration. To date many political, judicial and prison policies within the region have been amended producing favourable results.

During his time with PEI Pastor Caines recruited, trained, and mobilised numerous volunteers in Bermuda. He trained and assisted Prison Fellowship International affiliate ministries within the North America/Caribbean region. He served as a delegate in the international forum of global prison reform. He also chaired the international forum of global prison reform. He also chaired the P.E.I. Regional Executive Directors Caucus. As an influential leader, Pastor Caines served on the Bermuda Government Halfway House transition team, and spearheaded a successful International Prison Symposium in Bermuda with political leaders from North, South and Central America, and the Caribbean in attendance. As a Prison reform activist, God exposed, stretched and developed Pastor Caines for his next assignment.

Responding to another call of God, he and his family relocated to the United States in 1995 to become better equipped for ministry. While taking a course in Pastoral Leadership and Biblical studies at Philadelphia Biblical University; he was invited to join the pastoral team at Sharon Baptist Church of Philadelphia, a rapidly growing mega-church with a congregation of 6000 members, to function as Pastor of Christian Education. As Pastor of Christian Education, he provided oversight for the new Members
