Miller in the spotlight

Mark Miller gained his Bachelor of Arts as a music major from Yale University and later was awarded his Master of Music degree from the Julliard School of Music, New York City with concentration in organ performance.
While at Yale, he was the recipient, in 1989, of the University Music Department Award, and in the same year he won first prize in the Westminster Choir College Scholarship Competition. He then distinguished himself as the first prize local, regional and national winner of the National Association of Negro Musicians (NANM).
Mr. Miller has served as Director of Music and Organist at churches in the tri-state are of Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. Presently, he is Organist and associate Choirmaster at New York's famous convent avenue Baptist Church with a membership of over 5,000.
