Austin Thomas, and a young woman who, thanks to Rev. Hagerman's persistence and the support of the church, had overcome her severe addiction to drugs.
Numerous gifts were presented to the departing couple including a commissioned water colour of Wesley Church by local artist Miss Mary Zuill.
Rev. Hagerman was a founder member of the Wesley Orchestra, which is led by Major Kenneth Dill, and Mrs. Hagerman was the church secretary as well as an active worker in many other departments.
