week of a visiting minister of the Unity Church.

Lafayette Seymour will present his final "reminder'' or sermon in Bermuda at Unity's Sunday morning service.

Mr. Seymour's topic tomorrow will be "The word of today is...,''. He sees his role as being a reminder of what people already know or have forgotten about their spiritual life.

Mr. Seymour is a former Peace Corps volunteer and administrator who holds a divinity degree from Harvard university.

He said he reminds people about the techniques for living a full life.

"Bermuda is such a wonderful experimental laboratory for spirituality,'' Mr.

Seymour said. "It is limited in geography but unlimited in space to tell the truth.

"Everyone should know the kingdom of God is within you,'' Mr. Seymour added.

"Unity teaches to go within you and access the Christ within you. To access the power you already have.

Unity Foundation "I remind people who they are and that they are the sons and daughters of God. Therefore they can bring forth the power of God,'' he said. He said his lectures had been well attended and he had seen a positive response from both Unity members and non-members.

The Unity Foundation of Truth meets on the second floor of the Rego Building on Reid Street on Sundays at 9.30 and 11 a.m.

Unity's members consider it a way of life and centre their activities around the tenet: "I live in the Truth that there is but one presence and one power in the Universe: God, the Good, Omnipotent, and that presence is individualised in me and in you as the Christ.'' They believe that Jesus the Christ is the One who fulfilled his destiny by fully expressing his divine nature to show everyone the way to a Christly life.
