Music and Creative Arts Ministries Programme today

The Bermuda Conference AME Church’s Christian Education Department will host a Music and Creative Arts Ministries Programme. Participants will then take part in a programme at the Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts next Saturday at 7pm. Tickets are $30 patrons, $20 general admission, $5 children under 13.

Allen Temple AME Church will host a 100 Men Fellowship Breakfast at 8am.

The event will feature guest preacher Rev Nicholas Tweed at Allen Temple Youth Centre. Donations of $20 are appreciated.

Monday (January 19)

Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church will host a prayer group from 12.45pm until 1.15pm. The group will meet on the first and third Monday of each month to pray for the world, our country, our community, our churches and ourselves.

The prayer sessions will be led by Elder Mary Brier. The pink church is located at the corner of Church and Court Streets.

Next Saturday

St Joseph’s Church in Somerset will be hosting a flea market from 10am until 4pm. The flea market will take place again on Saturday, January 31.

Next Sunday

Bright Temple AME will host its Annual Men’s Day celebration with services at 10am and 3.30pm. Entitled The Few, the Chosen and the Committed, the message led by guest preacher Rev James C Simmons (of Baber AME Church in Rochester, New York), will be based on a passage in Daniel 3: 8-18. The church is located on Spring Hill Road in Warwick.

The Chapel of Ease in St David’s is holding its annual Seafarers’ Service at 11am. Comrades lost at sea will be especially remembered. Special guest will be Rt Rev Nicholas Dill, Bishop of Bermuda.
