Christian author Crystal Holdipp wants to help others activate their spiritual gifts with her new business.

Soaring Digital Solutions aims to help individuals and also faith-based organisations with their marketing endeavours.

Although she has been doing the work by request for some time, she has now decided to get more intentional about it.

“Soaring Digital Solutions is a digital marketing business where I take words and designs and help market ministry projects. I had been helping people with flyers, logos and media relations for some time and last year I created a business out of it,” she said.

“I work with mostly faith-based individuals and organisations. God had placed on my heart to do business differently, in a unique way. I want everything I do, even in business, to glorify Him.”

Ms Holdipp is a poet and self-published author of three books – Poems from the Heart, Inspiring Moments: Encouragement for the Soul, and Resilient: Rise Above the Ashes. All of her books are available on Amazon.

Over the years several people have come to her seeking advice on how to launch their own ministry or publish their own books.

“I have had a lot of people come to me after I published my books asking to connect and learn how I did it. I’ve also had people ask me to help them utilise their gifts.

“It’s kind of like a separate ministry. Helping other people activate their spiritual gifts.”

She hopes to take this to a new level with her “Activate the Gift Inside of You” campaign.

“After going through my own season of discouragement, my faith had been tested and God began to minister to me and show me gifts that I had within me that I didn’t realise. So ‘Activate the Gift Inside of You’ came from that journey. I want to encourage others to tap into that potential and bring out the gifts that are inside of them.”

She says that everyone is capable of an extraordinary life, once they believe it is possible and trust in God to lead them.

“If you see yourself as an average person, you will attract average things. God revealed to me that I am not average. If you want to go beyond an average life, you have to realise what is on the inside of you and activate it in its fullness.”

Although she has been creative since she was a young child, Ms Holdipp did not envision sharing any of it publicly.

“Growing up I didn’t talk much. I was quiet. Instead, I would take pen and paper and just write. That was the way I expressed myself.

“Over time I started to write letters to God and [created] poetry. I never saw myself as becoming a writer or publishing my work until lecturers at Bermuda College started to encourage me to do so.”

One of her poems, Don’t Give Up, was published on poetry.com in 2007. This gave Ms Holdipp the confidence boost she needed to share more of her work.

It was a natural progression for her to use her gifts for Christ.

“I became really encouraged and excited about my work. But I always wrote from a spiritual or faith-based perspective. That’s where God always led me, and I followed.”

She continued: “I truly believe that only what you do for Christ will last. The things of the world have their place, but they are only temporary. I want something that will have an eternal impact.

“Any time I stepped out to do something more secular it didn’t work out. But when I used my gifts for God it just flowed. This is where I am meant to be.”

Her advice to anyone who is struggling with walking in their purpose, is to spend some time getting to know themselves.

“You have to get to know more of yourself. Some people are afraid of following their calling, but once you see yourself the way God sees you, it becomes easier to do the things He wants you to do.

“Eventually, you learn to love the gifts that God has given you and it becomes second nature to use them for His glory.”

In addition to the services she offers, Ms Holdipp has launched an online store selling T-shirts, key chains, and mugs with some of her inspirational messages.

“I use my quotes and design items for people to use in their everyday lives to be uplifted and encouraged.”

The items are made to order.

She hopes to continue using her creative gifts to encourage believers in their faith journey and inspire them to use their talents for Christ.
