A dual international, Pini was capped eight times by Australia between June 1994 and June 1995 after making his debut against Ireland in Brisbane. A move to Europe saw him disappear from the international scene until 1998 when he made his debut for Italy against Holland in 1998.
He represented Italy at the World Cup in 1999 and was a member of the team was destroyed 101-3 by the All Blacks in that tournament. The highlight of his career with his adopted country was Italy's entry into the expanded Six Nations competition in 2000, and their debut win against Scotland that same year.
Pini has also recorded one of the quickest drop goals in the game, when he scored from 53 yards after just 23 seconds for Newport against Pontypridd on May 8, 2002.

Name: Ramiro Pez
Position: Fly half

Born in Cordoba, Argentina he made his international debut with Italy in 2000 against Samoa and went on to win total of 40 caps at fly half, scoring 254 points. He toured with Italy in 2005 to Australia and then to Argentina where Italy beat Argentina for the first time.
He played originally for La Tablada in Argentina and in 2000 joined Italian club, Roma for two years, making 19 Series A appearances and winning the 2000 Italian Championship, scoring 20 points. He joined Rotherham in the 2001-02 Season and was their top points scorer with 202 points, moved to Leicester for the 2003-04 season, playing on 13 occasions and scoring 100 points.
He returned to Argentina and La Tablada in 2009.
