Mad Hatters Tourney to mark new season

Bermuda men's and women's rugby teams will be vying for honours at the inaugural Mad Hatters Tournament held tomorrow at North Field to mark the start of the new season.

Previously known as the Sandys Boat Tournament, the event will see Police looking to defend their title although Renegades are deemed as favourites following last season's league and cup double.

Teachers and Mariners, who won the double in 2011, will also be looking to dust off some cobwebs ahead of the new league season.

In the women's competition, Renegades, Teachers, Police and Mariners will all challenge for the trophy.

All players are reminded to register for the tournament via the BRFU website.

Kick off is at 6pm.
