United want longer look at Wells
Carlisle United boss Greg Abott has seen plenty of potential in Nahki Wells and will take a second look at him when he returns to the English League One side for an extended trial.
Abott was impressed by the 19-year-old Bermudian during an in-house friendly match recently and has invited him back to Brunton Park to train with the first team later this month.
And Wells will be hoping to do enough to earn a permanent contract.
“We have kept tabs on him and we invited him up here last Monday, and he had an excellent session with us,” said Abott.
“The plan is to get him back up here before the festive period starts and have another look, because he did very well in his first session. He's bright, he's lively, and he can definitely use the ball, so we're looking forward to working with him again.”
