Nine teams to contest Champions Cup

Nine teams will challenge for the Champions Cup as part of the inaugural Player Development League (PDL) Christmas Tournament.

The competition will feature three groups with the top teams qualifying for the next stage, while the best two second place finishers will meet in a play-off to decide the last semi-final spot.

Group One will see St.David's, St.George's, and YMSC do battle, Group Two is made up of Dandy Town, North Village and Devonshire Cougars and Group Three includes Somerset Trojans, PHC and BAA.

The tournament runs from Monday, December 20, 2010 until January 2, 2011.
