Bermuda players handed Blast trials

A raft of Island Soccer League hopefuls are heading for trials at Major Indoor Soccer League professional side Baltimore Blast.This season’s six-a-side league’s top scorers Jason Lee and Cecoy Robinson headline the 14 players who will look to impress at the Blast’s pre-season training camp in October.All attending the tryouts will be goalkeeper Daniel Johnson, defenders Kaiya Darrell and Logan Alexander, midfielders Drewonde Bascome, Lonnie Bascome, Lozendro Symonds, Shaki Pearman, Shayne Hollis, Jahnai Raynor, and Ian Coke, and forwards Clay Darrell, and Jahron Dickinson.Alexander spent the 2009-10 season at the Blast but was released at the end of the campaign without playing a game for them.The ISL commissioner David Bascome is assistant coach at the Blast who finished runners-up in last season’s competition.Arsenal beat Knights in this summer’s ISL final at the National Sports Centre.Blast trialists: Jason Lee Union, Cecoy Robinson Arsenal, Daniel Johnson Apex, Logan Alexander Arsenal, Ian Coke Knights, Clay Darrell Royal, Jahron Dickinson Apex, Lonnie Bascome Titans, Kaiya Darrell Knights, Drewonde Bascome Storm, Jahnai Raynor Kings Shaki Pearman ArsenalLozendro Symonds Knights, Shayne Hollis Knights
