Goals on either side of the half-time whistle put Somerset Trojans into the top three of the Premier Division with their 2-0 win over PHC Zebras at Southampton Oval yesterday.

Trojans striker Deunte Darrell put the visiting side ahead five minutes before the break, while the points were made safe when Kirt Brown got his name on the scoresheet ten minutes into the second half.

In the First Division, Kanhai Fray grabbed a brace as Somerset Eagles beat Devonshire Colts 2-1 at Police Field. Fray’s goals came in the eighteenth and nineteenth minutes to get his side a two-goal advantage.

Williams got his second, and what proved to be the match-winner, with 15 minutes remaining in the match.

Dant’e Wellman got Paget’s second goal in the dying stages, but it would be too little too late for the home side.

BAA and Robin Hood battled to a hard-fought 2-2 draw on Saturday night at Goose Gosling Field.

Josh DeSilva opened the scoring for BAA midway through the first half before Raequan Rodchester doubled the lead ten minutes into the second half.

Olympic sailor Jesse Kirkland scored Hood’s first goal five minutes from time and the equaliser would come just two minutes later after Joshua Crockwell levelled matters.
