The Bermuda Football Association Women’s Committee has partnered with Footy Promotions to host the Keeping Girls in Sport Online course.

The course, which is powered by the Respect Group, is aimed to further educate and empower all leaders, coaches, parents, teachers, and athletes working with girls from all sporting bodies on island, by offering a dynamic training programme to keep girls in sport.

This course will assist with creating a safe, inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for girls to fulfil their potential.

Keeping Girls in Sport Online Course will provide valuable information on the difference between coaching girls in comparison to boys, the challenges for equality that female athletes continue to face, injuries that relate to girls, and how the sports environment we create affects a girl's willingness to participate.

“Together we can support girls in Bermuda and keep them involved in sports, said Charryse Bean, the BFA Women’s Committee chairwoman. “With this online course, you will get out what you put into it, so we encourage you to give your full attention to the programme, we are confident that you will learn something new and be able to apply this training in your sporting environments.”

Registration for the course can be found at https://bermudakgis.respectgroupinc.com
